Sarah Naybour Design Ltd is very proud to be shortlisted as finalists in the APL Awards for their stunning and challenging project South Hayes . Results will be announced on the 13th of March.
The Association of Professional Landscapers has a rigorous selection process ensuring that all its members are inspected annually to comply with the latest health and safety laws and that their quality of work is of the highest standard. For us at Sarah Naybour Design Ltd, being part of the APL means that we are always on the forefront of progress and innovation within the industry. By focussing on the quality of our construction detailing, we ensure we build exactly what we design, and can collaborate with the best in the industry.
We are delighted to be shortlisted for South Hayes, a garden which at first seems to be predominantly a plant-centric design, however it would have been impossible without the massive restructuring and retaining of the steep bank which dominates this unique garden.
It is however hard to ignore the planting as this project involved a garden, famous for its own rare Snow Drop species and rich horticultural history, and giving it renewed relevance. We achieved this by using large blocks of plants, for maximum colour and textural impact, based on the style of Piet Oudolf. The results have been fantastic – which is why we feel confident of of a positive result on 13th March!
