Working with Architects

One of the pleasures of being involved in landscape and garden design projects is working with architects. A creative bunch of individuals with lots of ideas to share and realise. My services listed here provide a welcome accompliment to any architectural firm.

Landscape Design Service

My design connects your design to the surrounding landscape. Working with architects is always exciting as it really enables the building and the garden to have a meaningful relationship. Often the garden is done as an afterthought resulting in additional disruption for the clients and no proper communication between the interior and exterior space.

The benefits of working together are that, unlike a landscape architect, I specialise in residential landscapes, with all the qualifications to produce professional specification and construction documents too.

Most architects prefer me to work as a separate contractor directly with the client. For further details please refer to Resident Services.

Rendering

My fine art training means that my graphic style creates a meaningful image of a finished design, which a client can easily relate to. I use Sketchup to model the overall design and then use these to capture views which I can turn into hand rendered pictures. I offer this as an independent service on a daily rate.
